THE Invitational aims to provide a unique experience for the players, Coaches, and families in attendance: A chance to compete against top schools from across the country that may never be seen in-season, and the opportunity for recruiting exposure at all NCAA levels. Harvard University was chosen as the tournament site due to its' ideal location and setting: Being in the Northeast, ease of travel for families and College Coaches, as well as favorable Summer weather are what makes Harvard University the ideal location for this event.
Each team will be guaranteed 5 games over the weekend: 3 pool play games and 2 playoff-format games.
Each game will be 50 minutes long: Two 23-minute running halves and a 4-minute halftime.
Games will adhere to current NCAA Rules and Regulations.
Penalties are 45 and 90 seconds, running time.
In the event of a tie game at the end of regulation, teams will continue playing, without a stoppage, until the next goal is scored (Sudden Victory).
One 30-second timeout per team, per game.
Tiebreakers will be determined by the following (in order): Win/Loss Record, Head to Head, Goals Against, Goal Differential, Goals For, Coin Toss.
Scores will be updated live on Tourney Machine throughout the weekend. We recommend you download the app on your phone to stay up to date as scores are posted.
